graduated from Ilia State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts. She spent the third year of her studies (2017-2018) at the Uppsala University (Sweden) through Erasmus+ exchange program, where she focused on the Development Studies. While pursuing her Bachelor’s degree, she was actively involved in projects concerning religious diversity in Georgia. Nana also participated in the Myth Detector School, during which she worked on the subject of the Sex education policies from the Soviet times to today. She is interested in diversity issues of Georgia, the history of diversity – especially religious diversity, the experiences of religious minorities, the relationship between religious institutions and the government. Also, how the attitudes of the society changed through time towards the diversity.
For the autumn term 2020-2021 Nana was awarded a Konrad Adenauer Foundation South Caucasus Scholarship in the MA program of Modern History of Georgia.
