GOTCHA VANADZE

Graduated
  • In 2016 I enrolled at the Law School of Free University of Tbilisi. From the very beginning of my studies, my main interests became politics, political science, and philosophy of politics. In my junior year at the university, I worked on the topic Electoral Systems -Performance of Popular Parties in Different Electoral Contexts. I wrote my bachelor’s thesis on Non-violent Resistance and Democratization – Prerequisite Analysis, in which I endeavored to answer the question: Why are non-violent democratization attempts successful, in some cases, but in some other cases they fail. Currently, I pursue my interest in Georgian attempts of democratization, Georgia’s practice of establishing institutions, and the impeding factors on this way. I largely do this in the historical context of the First Republic of Georgia.
