BEKA GABELIA

Beka Gabelia graduated from Ilia State University with a bachelor degree in History. In the 2019-2020 academic year, he joined the Erasmus + Exchange Program in the United Kingdom at the University of Glasgow, where he took social history courses and concentrated on religion and gender issues from early modern to contemporary history. He was involved in student conferences at Ilia State University and worked on symbols of the First Republic of Georgia. He was also a member of the History Club at the University and attended projects and summer schools. The subjects of these meetings included field issues and research methodologies in history. In 2017, on behalf of Iliauni, he won the project “We study the Bible” organized by the Patriarchate of Georgia.
