  • When I first heard of the Junkers of the Democratic Republic of Georgia I was about 14 years old and I immediately wanted to learn more. Unfortunately, finding more information about it proved to be difficult at best.  Perhaps this was when I first considered researching the modern history of Georgia.

I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Free University of Tbilisi where I developed an interest in geopolitical paradigms and the state interests of different countries, especially those influencing my country. As a result, I am determined to explore the periods of independence in Georgia’s modern history and its political efforts to find a more desirable and sustainable place in the geopolitical order.

Furthermore, I have always had an interest in literature, poetry, music, photography, cinematography and fine arts and their influence on culture. Therefore, I am inclined to explore the history of the development and evolution of several groups of artists in Georgia.
