RUSUDAN KOBAKHIDZE-AROSHVILI Invited lecturers

In 1986 Rusudan Kobakhidze-Aroshvili graduated from Tbilisi State University, the Department of Classical Philology. From 1987 through 1989 she worked for the Vepkhistkaosani Committee (The Committee for “The Knight in the Panther’s Skin”) at the Institute of Georgian Literature. In 1989 Rusudan enrolled for Aspirantura (the first doctoral degree programme) of the Institute of Linguistics, the Department of Kartvelian Languages. From 1998 through 2000 Rusudan was a teacher of Georgian Language and Literature at a private school “Pesvebi” (“Roots”). In 2012 she applied for the Doctoral Programme in Byzantine Philology at Tbilisi State University and earned her PhD degree in 2017. She has been a researcher at the Soviet Past Research Laboratory since 2014 and a teacher of Georgian Language and Literature at the Green School since 2018. Since 2020 Rusudan has been teaching a course of academic writing to ISU Master students specializing in Modern Georgian History.
Rusudan has taken part in several international conferences:
- 2013 – “For the Biblical Symbolism of Vineyard”, delivered at an international conference Byzantine Studies in Georgia – 4;
- 2014 – “Typological Correlations of the Symbol of Wine in Byzantine Exegesis”, delievered at an international conference Topical Issues of Ancient Culture and its Heritage.
Participation in Conferences:
- 2018 – “Property Rights and the Church” Free University, delivered at an academic conference The First Republic of Georgia: Legal and Political Perspectives.
