The course examines the history of the 20th century in a global context. It seeks to interest students in global history and help them develop research and analytical skills and an ability to work with primary and secondary sources and periodicals. Students will be introduced to chief political, military, social, economic and cultural events that occurred during that period. They will be able to understand the relationship between the 20th century history and present-day challenges.
