The course aims to give students a comprehensive knowledge regarding the Democratic Republic of Georgia and its foreign policy. It seeks to advance their analytical and research skills by requiring them to work with Western European, Russian and Georgian primary sources. The course will encourage students to continue an in-depth study of the foreign policy of Democratic Republic of Georgia at doctoral level. Familiarity with the works from the best scholarship available in the field and primary sources will help them establish connections between foreign policy challenges of the Democratic Republic of Georgia and the current place of Georgia in international relations.
