{"id":387,"date":"2021-04-26T12:08:15","date_gmt":"2021-04-26T12:08:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geomodernhistory.iliauni.edu.ge\/en\/?page_id=387"},"modified":"2021-04-27T12:26:53","modified_gmt":"2021-04-27T12:26:53","slug":"admission-requirements-and-assessment-system","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/geomodernhistory.iliauni.edu.ge\/en\/admission-requirements-and-assessment-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Admission Requirements and Assessment System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be admitted to the Programme, after passing the National Master\u2019s Examination, applicants must take the following exams:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">English Language Exam (Test, B2 level)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oral exam administered by the University.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>English Language Exam<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Test) will be held at Ilia State University (ISU). The candidate must receive at least 71% of the total points to pass the test. Applicants who provide an international certificate of English will be exempted from the exam.\u00a0 If a student submits a B2 certificate, a score indicated in it must be at least 71% or higher. Alternatively, applicants may submit a certificate stating that they demonstrated an ability at C1 level or higher.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants must also submit a CV and a letter of motivation (max. number of words: 400) in Georgian.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Oral Exam<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidates will be assessed according to a 100-point scale.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Applicants are assessed according to the following criteria:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Academic\/professional achievements\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basic subject-specific knowledge<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Motivation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Questions at the oral exam will concern Programme-related topics. An interview will be held in the Georgian and English languages. To show their motivation, applicants must explain their interest in the programme from the viewpoint of future professional growth.
