Konrad Adenauer Foundation scholarship program
In the process of Georgia’s democratic transformation, great importance is paid to the study of the historical past and its analysis through reflection. The Konrad Adenauer Foundation is pleased to have found an extremely trusted partner, Ilia State University, with whom the cooperation has laid the grounds for many new projects and initiatives in the past years. From 2020, Konrad Adenauer Foundation established a scholarship program for the talented youth, interested in the study of modern History of Georgia. We believe, that the scholarship program will support these students to conduct independent research and the ability to work on their thesis effectively. With the knowledge gained in the field of modern history, the students will automatically get involved in building the country’s democratic transformation.
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation provides a monthly stipend of Gel 800 for students of the Ilia State University Master’s Program in Modern History of Georgia. A total of ten students study in each course, of which, the top three will receive a Konrad Adenauer Foundation Scholarship. The duration of the scholarship will depend on the student’s academic performance during the master’s program.
